STEP 3: setup the MKSLAser application

1. Download the application “MKSLaser” on your smartphone. For Android users:

3. You may download the applications using the QR code shown in (1). The QR code link as follows: https://qrcc.me/s8qjla0du5tf 

4. Open the application after successfully installing, the home page will be displayed as shown in (2), it has four main taps:

4.1. Creation: Draw your design, load pre-designed photo, or capture the design using your device camera as shown in (2.1).

4.2. Control: Manually control the position and speed of the stepper motors as shown in (2.2), and the parameters shown in (2.3), indicates the position of X-motor (X), Y-motor (Y), and laser power (S).

4.3. Material: Save designs that you want to engrave, and it has already pre-installed designs for testing purposes.

4.4. Graving: Test the laser power by adjusting the power percentage.

5. In order to connect the application to the CNC laser machine, on the home page, click on the chain icon at the top-left corner. The connect page will open as shown in (3). Choose WiFi connect, type the IP address generated before with the MKSLaserTool software (by default “192.168.4.1”), then click on Connect.
